A Free Corrective Surgery Medical Screening, Selection and 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limb Measurement Camp for differently-abled persons was organised by Narayan Seva Sansthan in association with the Surat D.M. Patel Family Trust at Maheshwari Bhavan, Somayampalayam, Coimbatore.

More than 515 differently-abled beneficiaries participated in the camp. Measurements were taken for 411 beneficiaries for artificial limbs and calipers, while 10 persons were selected for free corrective surgeries.

The camp was inaugurated by Harishbhai D. Patel by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the humanitarian efforts and said that service to differently-abled persons is equal to service to God.

Maheshwari Sabha President Gopalji Maheshwari presided over the event and encouraged differently-abled individuals to move forward with confidence and self-belief.

Among those who participated were Rajasthani Sangh President Santosh Mundhra, Mahaveer Gaushala President Prasanna Kothari, Satish Mittal, Prafulbhai Sejpal, Manak Bhandari, Zora Ram Patel, Mahesh Agarwal, Vikas Dhariwal, Kamal Bhandari, Dinesh Srimali, Kamal Kishore Agarwal, Ashish Bohra, Tarun Ranga and several others.

Camp coordinators Achal Singh Bhati and Hari Prasad Latha stated that the selected beneficiaries would be provided free Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs in Coimbatore within the next one to two months.

They also said that the lightweight artificial limbs, developed using Japanese and German technology, are easy to use and would help differently-abled persons lead a more independent and confident life.
